Happy Capitalosaurus Day! On this day in 1898, construction workers discovered dinosaur bones in Southeast Washington DC, so far the only dinosaur remains found in DC. Capitalosaurus, likely a T Rex ancestor, was designed DC's official dinosaur in 1998.

Small states should stick together, which is why I was proud that the DE Senate passed my resolution supporting DC Statehood. Delaware's @SenatorCarper has been the U.S. Senate's loudest champion of H.R. 51, Delegate @EleanorNorton bill that would establish DC as the 51st State.
Yesterday, @ChmnMendelson & the DC Council sent its Revised Criminal Code Act to Congress to begin the 60-day review process where members of Congress from places like Tennessee & Georgia can override legislation passed lawfully by those elected to represent DC.
