After a series of blows to DC’s autonomy, including the overturning of our Revised Criminal Code and newly introduced legislation to meddle with our criminal laws, the House Oversight Committee has announced a hearing on DC Governance this Wednesday.

They’re acting like they know what’s best for DC — but they don’t live here, they don’t know us, and they don’t know our communities.
