Event Date:
Wednesday, February 27, 2019 - 8:00am to 5:00pm

The newly elected members of Congress need to hear from the people who call DC home. Join us to educate new Senators and House members and their staff on why we deserve the same rights of democracy as all other residents in all the states. Whether introducing them to the unfair strictures of Home Rule, the need for Voting Rights for DC, or our strategic path to Statehood, our voices must be heard.

Join us for one or both of our shifts: 8a-1p or 12p-5p. Training provided, breakfast and/or lunch available. Leaders of the Statehood movement will guide the way. If you've never done advocacy or if you are a long-time citizen lobbyist (if so, let us know), our movement needs you.

More details will follow! Our quest for full equality is the strongest we’ve ever been. Fuel this momentum by joining us February 27th!

Morning and All Day Shift: Meet at 8:00am at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 301 A Street SE
