These photos were submitted to us by Ann Elise, from Capitol Hill. Thanks Ann Elise!

My name is Ann Elise, and I've lived in Capitol Hill, DC for 18 years (born and raised). When I was little I'd tell people I was from a small town because that's what Capitol Hill was to me. It still feels like that - a small town in the middle of a big city - and that's why I love my neighborhood. Also the incredible mix of interesting people and diversity of all kinds. I want DC to have a vote because my rights (and my neighbors') are just as important as other Americans' and it's time that our representation reflects that.
