DC Vote, Mayor Vincent Gray, Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton and a broad coalition of civil rights organizations are sponsoring a rally on Saturday, October 15 to shine light on the continued lack of justice and freedom for DC residents. The Full Democracy and Freedom Rally will serve as a reminder that the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. remains unfinished. Those gathering for the rally and march and a dynamic group of speakers will demand full democratic rights for the residents of the District of Columbia. After the rally, participants will march with Rev. Al Sharpton and the National Action Network to the site of the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial.

9:30 - 10:00 AM Pre-rally program
10:00 - 11:00 AM Rally for Full Democracy and Freedom, with District and Civil Rights leaders
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM March to join the National Action Network Rally at at the Sylvan Theatre, 15th St. SW and Independence Ave. SW
1:30 PM March to the site of the King Memorial at Ohio Drive SW and West Basin Drive SW
