DC Mayor and Former Mayors Present Letter to President Barack H. Obama

(Washington, DC) Today: Former DC Mayor Sharon Pratt and widow of first 20th century Mayor Mary Washington will deliver a letter signed by District of Columbia Mayor and former elected Mayors at 2:15pm today at the northwest gate of the White House.

This letter is delivered with the hope that President Barack Obama will use the authority of his office to protest the plight of the citizens of the District of Columbia regarding full representation and participation in the American democratic system.
