Mayor Gray to testify on fiscal budget Thursday
8 Arrested on Capitol Hill in DC Voting Rights Rally: MyFoxDC.com
WASHINGTON - Eight people were arrested on Capitol Hill on Wednesday when they took part in a DC Vote rally. The District residents walked into traffic along Constitution Avenue and were taken into custody by Capitol Police.
On Thursday, Mayor Vincent Gray and Council Chairman Kwame Brown will go to Capitol Hill to testify in front of a House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee. House members on that committee are expected to focus their questions on D.C.'s next fiscal budget.
There is concern that questions could also be asked about Brown's SUV issue and the Sulaimon Brown investigation.
