DC Veterans for DC Vote
During the history of the United States, more than 192,000 DC residents have fought serving America in times of war. Thousands of those men and women made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, and thousands of others were wounded. Their service is particularly honorable as they have never had a vote in the U.S. Congress. They have no vote on homeland security, no vote on national security and no vote on benefits for veterans.
They fight and die for the causes of freedom and democracy abroad, yet are denied the democratic right to congressional voting representation here in their own country.

Write a letter-to-the-editor to the USA Today, the Washington Post and the New York Times and suggest honoring the service and sacrifice of DC veterans by giving them a vote in the U.S. Congress.
