Volunteer Your Time
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! After signing in below, please let us know which opportunities best fit your interests and availability. Your request will be e-mailed to our Volunteer Coordinator who will contact you.
Advocacy Volunteer
- Respond to e-mail Advocacy Alerts to contact members of Congress and others to build support for DC voting rights legislation. Advocacy volunteers will usually take action during weekdays from a computer.
Event Volunteer
- Attend and work at civic and community events as an ambassador for DC Vote. Event volunteers will usually help DC Vote after work hours and on weekends around the DC region.
Office Volunteer
- Help with administrative work supporting our day-to-day operations, including mailings, data entry, etc. Office volunteers would work at DC Vote during our hours of operation – Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
General Volunteer
- Help with any activities included here as well as others.
