Date:     Saturday, September 18, 2004
Location:     Washington DC Convention Center - 801 Mt. Vernon Square, NW
Time:     10:00 AM - 9:00 PM

The Green Festival is a two-day party with a serious purpose: to accelerate the emergence of a new economic paradigm that is life-affirming, inclusive and nurturing. Together we are cultivating a culture of sustainability and social equity that honors our interdependence with all life. Green Festival unites green enterprises, social and environmental groups, visionary thinkers and thousands of community members in a lively exchange of ideas, commerce and movement building fun.

The Green festival will also be open at the DC Convention Center on Sunday, September 19 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. DC Vote will only be participating on Saturday, September 18.

Admission to the festival is not free, and tickets will be available for purchase online soon at the website for The Green Festival listed above. Volunteers for DC Vote at DC Vote's table during the festival on Saturday will be allowed entry into the festival without tickets.

Join DC Vote at the Green Festival to help raise awareness of our mission, collect petition signatures and give out information on DC's denial of equal rights.
