WAMU's Kojo Nnambdi, members of the DC and regional communities, and local representatives came to the Speak Out! to voice their concerns about the state of health and healthcare in the metro DC area and what should be done to improve our community's health.
Registration, reception, networking, and community exhibits opened at 4:00 pm
The Community Speakout was held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm
DC Vote conducted a short health questionnaire that attendees could take to help DC Vote with aa assessment being conducting on the effects of disenfranchisement on DC's public health that is supported by the Consumer Health Foundation.
