Celebrate the Rich and Vibrant Culture of Adams Morgan
Join DC Vote for the 34th Annual Adams Morgan Day Festival
in the nation’s capital on Sunday, September 9, 2011 from 12:00 to 7:00 PM.
First held in 1978, this regional festival of national acclaim celebrates the cultural and international diversity and creativity of the
unique Adams Morgan neighborhood.
DC Vote is looking for volunteers to help spread the word about DC's struggle for democracy!
We will be tabling and giving away DC Vote gear while educating visitors about full democracy for DC.

Volunteer shifts:
- 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM (break down)
The famous Columbia and Florida Stages (located on 18th Street at Columbia Road, NW and at Florida Ave, NW) will showcase live music ranging
in genre from Central and South American music to Latin Rock, Salsa, Jazz, Soul, Funk and American Rock.
In addition to the performances on these main stages, the festival will also include the Kids Area, Dance Plaza, Jazz Oasis in the Park, Arts on Belmont,
the Cultural Stage and the newest addition the the festival, the Green Pavillion. Local shops and vendors will be featured prominently as well.
