Many District residents show their pride with a DC flag tattoo. Join both the inked and non-inked, plus bands, speakers, food trucks and surprises at this DC Flag Day celebration.

Flag Day 2011 will be the world’s largest gathering of people with DC flag tattoos EVER as a way to get under the skin of Americans and bring attention to DC’s lack of rights in Congress.

Organizing for the event is ongoing on Twitter under the hash tag #DCFLAGTATTOO. Momentum for the celebration is growing throughout the District as people share pictures of tattoos online.
