Join Mayor Vincent Gray, DC Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton, DC Vote
and rally sponsors on Saturday,
June 25 at 11:00 AM for the White House Rally for DC Democracy.
Together, we will tell President Obama: stand up for DC!
This week, the House Appropriations Committee passed a bill that would, once again, prohibit DC from using local tax revenue to
provide reproductive healthcare for low-income women. It is crucial that President Obama take a firm stance in
opposition to this congressional overreach in DC affairs.
Here are all the rally details:

Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Location: Lafayette Square Park, 16th & H St NW (in front of the White House)
Metro: Farragut West (Orange & Blue lines) or Farragut North (Red Line)
The event will feature musical performances, a make-your-own rally sign station, painting voting arms and other family-friendly activities.
