The House of Representatives will vote Thursday on a spending bill which would prohibit DC from spending its own funds on programs that prevent the spread of AIDS and help
low-income women obtain safe reproductive health services.
Many new House members came to office with cries of "don't tread on me!," demanding the federal government stay out of their lives.
We must tell Congress and the nation: Don't Tread On DC!
We are launching an aggressive, creative campaign with a protest Thursday morning on Capitol Hill. Meet at
the Capitol South Metro Station (Orange/Blue line) at 7:00 AM.
