Congress is moving closer to pulling the trigger in its attack on democracy in DC. Acting quickly after the full committee hearing, there will be a committee mark-up on the gun bill on Wednesday, September 10. We need to pack the hearing room with DC residents to demonstrate that we will not tolerate this violation of local democracy and self-government.
Please join us at tomorrow's hearing and come wearing your DC Vote t-shirt. If you don't have a t-shirt, we'll have one for you at the hearing.
