Join the District of Columbia Democratic State Committee (DCDSC) for the State Convention at the University of the District of Columbia.
A terrific series of some 20 workshops and caucus events with prominent panelists will be a major part of the State Convention on Saturday, May 3 at UDC. The event includes workshops on DC Voting Rights, Expanding Participation, Getting Politically Active Online, Blogging, Party Building, Politics & Religion, Trade & Politics and Political Fundraising. There will also be programs presented in adjoining rooms by nearly a dozen Constituency Caucuses.
Please tell your friends and neighbors about the Convention, the workshops, caucuses, free lunch, voting on the party platform and resolutions. The DCDSC is aiming for a turnout of 500-600. This event is expected to be a memorable Party Convention, the first DC has had in many years.
