This Subcommittee meeting was originally scheduled for July 18, 2003. It has been postponed until sometime in the fall of 2003. Once the the new date is set, DC Vote will post it here on our website.

This is where members of the Senate from states across the country add 'riders' or restrictions to how the residents of DC are permitted to spend their own local tax money.

The DC budget is expected to reach the floor of the House of Represenatives on July 27, 2003. There will be no one from the District of Columbia who will be permitted to vote on the FY2004 DC Budget.
