On June 11 and 12, DC Vote staff and volunteers joined thousands of DC residents and others from around the country at the 30th Anniversary of Capital Pride.

While marching behind Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton in the parade on Saturday and at the festival booth on Sunday, DC Vote signed up new members and volunteers, sold t-shirts and passed out thousands of "Taxation Without Representation" stickers.

"The event was a great success," said Kevin Kiger, DC Vote communications director. "Hundreds of people from all over the region came to our booth and signed up to learn more about DC Vote and the DC voting rights movement."
