On Tuesday, October 14, 2003 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the City Museum of Washington, D.C., DC Vote honored its 2003 Champions of Democracy Awards recipients.

The event was attended by nearly 300 people who sampled from a "Taste of the Community" as local restaurants and national beverage distributors shared their best with DC Vote's best supporters and friends. Individuals and businesses also donated items and services that allowed DC Vote to host its First Annual Silent Auction.
