Foundations & Grantmakers Recognize DC Vote's Critical Work

• The Catalogue for Philanthropy, one of the top stamps of approval for nonprofits in the Washington, DC area, included DC Vote in their recommended list for the first time in 2008. This recognition positions DC Vote as one of the best charities in the area.



• The Ronald H. Brown Foundation, established to carry on the vision of the late Secretary of Commerce, honored DC Vote with their 2008 Award for Civil Rights Leadership.



• CFC and the DC One Fund included DC Vote in their workplace giving campaigns, providing local and federal government employees a convenient way to support DC voting rights. (CFC #66340)



• In 2004, the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region highlighted DC Vote in their annual Spirit of Giving Guide for 2004-2005, entitled "Hear My Voice."
